Part 1

How do you react when the news media reports on a science discovery that seems to contradict your faith in the Bible?  What happens when you are confronted by a college professor that shames you for not believing in the theory of evolution for the origins of life?  Do you ignore it?  Books like “Already Gone” indicate that not addressing the origins issues in science results in young people walking away from faith.

Surprisingly, the solution to the science issue in the age of evolution involves teaching people more about science, not less. That is what this series does, it focuses on the four things - four things that even scientists themselves know - that you need to know about science in the age of evolution, and the one thing you need to do to keep the faith. Does science discover the truth?  What is the role of paradigms in science?  What changed in science that brought on the age of evolution? In How to Think about Science in the Age of Evolution Part 1, Thomas Bentley explores answers to these questions along with practical ideas for thinking about science.

Part 2

How to Think about Science in the Age of Evolution Part 2 picks up on the third point of what everyone should know about science in the age of evolution. Finally, discover what one thing we must do in order to keep the faith. Thomas Bentley gives us more meaningful insight as to how to properly think about science in the age of evolution. Examine the idea that science is actually constructed of paradigms, and not entirely true. So who is in control of what we consider to be science? Learn about the true nature of how science is actually created.

With all this newfound knowledge about the true nature of science, how are we, as God’s people, to think about science? How can we be witnesses to others who are followers of ‘Science’? Discover what it means to stay faithful to the Lord and how we can guard our minds against scientific deception in our world today.
