John Nevins Andrews gave his life to Christ when he was 13 years old. By the time he was 14, he was teaching others what he’d learned in his Bible studies. He felt certain Jesus would return in 1843 or 1844. Though deeply affected by the Great Disappointment when Christ did not return, J N Andrews continued to study and while still a teen, became a Sabbath keeper and sometime afterward, got to know James and Ellen White.

As a young adult, he wrote articles for the Review and Herald and preached the Three Angels’ Messages, traveling by horse and buggy to new communities opening in the West. Over the years, he worked closely with James and Ellen White, and Joseph Bates, the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Taking on ever greater responsibilities in the church, he was elected president of the General Conference when he was 38 and later became the church’s first missionary to Europe.

Learn about the remarkable J. N. Andrews in this gripping biography. Hear of his courageous stand against fanatics while still a youth, the hardships of his horse-and-buggy travel to preach to settlers in new districts, and his missionary efforts in Europe. Discover the spiritual zeal and love for the lost that made this man one of the brightest lights in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
